Brevard County · Florida
Viera is unincorporated, so its permits go to Brevard County, whose offices sit inside Viera itself. Nearly every house belongs to one of the community's dozens of neighborhoods, each with an association, and the architectural rules cover how an array looks when it returns to a new roof.

The crew works Orlando down to Miami every week, so Viera gets normal scheduling, no travel charge, and a reinstall lined up with your roofer's tear-off date.
On the ground in Viera
The Duda family's Viera Company broke ground in 1989 and is still adding neighborhoods, so roof ages run from the early 1990s to brand new. About half of the community's 14,500 acres is set aside as conservation land, which leaves most streets ringed by wetlands and ponds. Construction is consistent: block or frame walls, truss roofs, and dimensional shingle or concrete tile depending on the neighborhood's standards. FPL serves all of Viera. Building and electrical permits go to the Brevard County building office at the Government Center on Judge Fran Jamieson Way. State law protects the right to add solar, though the architectural committee can still pick the roof face within the south-facing range. Wetland birds and the occasional nest under the edge of an array are part of life here, and a mesh guard keeps them out.
Heritage Isle, Grand Isle and Bridgewater, the active-adult communities, have owners who want the work done with little disruption and the array back exactly as approved. In Viera East, the older side, Auburn Lakes and Hammock Lakes have many original roofs at or near replacement age. Some newer neighborhoods in Viera West use concrete tile, and a reinstall on tile needs proper replacement flashings and patient handling rather than a hurried crew.

FAQ
Yes, every week. Viera is on our Orlando to Miami route, so it is normal scheduling with no travel charge, and the reinstall is lined up with your roofer's tear-off date.
Only a licensed solar or electrical contractor, because a roofing license does not cover it. The reinstall usually needs its own permit and inspection through Brevard County or the city, depending on the address.
Homes in Viera are generally served by FPL. When an array goes back on after a roof job the utility usually needs to know, and the building department normally inspects the reinstall before the system is switched back on.
Usually. The installer's own workmanship warranty is gone, but the panels, inverter and optimizers carry manufacturer warranties that normally still apply, and a dead system is often one failed part rather than a worn-out array.

The address, roughly how many panels, who installed them if you know, and what is happening. A photo of the array from the street and one of the inverter get you an accurate number fastest, and texting them is the quickest way to send them.
